Why it was recalled

Nova Bus is recalling certain 1997-2002 and 2005-2024 LFS and 2009-2024 LFS Artic transit buses because the low brake air pressure warning light may fail to illuminate when the engine is off. This failure to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 121 means the driver may not be alerted to low brake pressure, increasing the risk of a crash if the parking brake is disengaged before the engine is started. This recall is distributed nationwide.
