What happened

Ring Power Corporation is recalling certain 2019-2026 Terex C4000, C5000, C6000, and General 65 digger derrick trucks. An insufficient weld on the plate weldment may crack, causing the retaining pin to separate. Without a retaining pin, the pole guide arm may fall, increasing the risk of injury to people around the truck. The recall affects 73 vehicles nationwide and was reported to NHTSA on August 17, 2026.

Ring Power will inspect and replace the weldment plate as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 2026.
