What happened

Terex South Dakota, Inc. is recalling certain 2025 TL-Series, LT-Series, LTM40, HR40, HR46, and SCM55 areal device vehicles. The control valve may have been assembled with an incorrect plug, causing the hydraulic equipment to overheat. Touching parts of the overheated hydraulic equipment can increase the risk of burn injuries.

The recall was reported to NHTSA on January 12, 2026, and owner notification letters were mailed January 23, 2026. Dealers will inspect and repair the control valve as necessary, free of charge.
