Why it was recalled

Toyota is recalling certain 2022–2024 Lexus LX vehicles due to insufficient clearance between the front passenger seat frame and stopper, which can cause the Occupant Classification System (OCS) sensor to incorrectly detect occupants. This may result in improper air bag deployment during a crash, increasing injury risk.
