Toyota bZ4X Rear Combination Light Assembly
Toyota is recalling rear combination light assemblies (part nos. 81561-42290, 81551-42290) for bZ4X vehicles due to missing side marker lights, increasing crash risk.
Contact Toyota immediately to obtain the correct rear combination light assembly replacement. Do not use the recalled assembly if it contains a side marker reflector instead of a side marker light.
Why it was recalled
Toyota is recalling certain rear combination light assemblies (part numbers 81561-42290 and 81551-42290) sold as replacement parts for Toyota bZ4X vehicles. The assemblies may be equipped with a side marker reflector instead of a side marker light, failing to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. Without the correct lights, other road users may have difficulty seeing the vehicle from the rear or side, increasing crash risk.
