Trails West Manufacturing of Idaho, Inc. is recalling certain 2027 RPM Freeride recreational trailers because the cooktop flame may become inverted when the furnace is operating, increasing the risk of a fire. The recall affects 55 vehicles nationwide and was reported to NHTSA on April 22, 2026.

The remedy is that dealers will install an aluminum separation between the furnace and the cooktop, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 30, 2026.
