Why it was recalled
Volkswagen is recalling certain 2024 Tiguan vehicles that were previously repaired under a prior safety campaign. A software error in the camera control unit may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying at startup, which reduces rear visibility and increases the risk of a crash.
