What happened
Wanco, Inc. is recalling certain Compact Light Towers with part number WLTT because the diesel fuel tank may crack and leak fuel. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. The recall affects 1,129 vehicles nationwide.
The issue was reported to NHTSA on July 30, 2026. Wanco Inc., or dealers will replace the fuel tank, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 10, 2026.
