Winnebago Arka recreational vehicles have an incorrect rear Gross Axle Weight Rating and cold tire inflation, which can cause tire overload and a crash.

What happened
Winnebago Industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2027 Arka recreational vehicles because the rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) and cold tire inflation listed on the federal placard is incorrect. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars." An incorrect GAWR and cold tire inflation combination can lead to unintentionally overloading the tires, increasing the risk of a crash.
The recall affects 56 vehicles nationwide. Winnebago will mail out corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 19, 2026. The issue was reported to NHTSA on September 18, 2026.
