What happened
Winnebago Industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2024-2025 Ekko motorhomes. The touchscreen display may register unintended or phantom inputs and turn the generator on without the operator's knowledge. People in an enclosed space, such as a garage, with a running generator may be at an increased risk of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning. The recall was reported to NHTSA on July 30, 2026, and affects 96 vehicles nationwide.
