What happened
HARPPA, Inc., of Denver, Colorado, is recalling Nordi Foldable Toddler Tower Stools because the stools can collapse or tip over while in use, and a child's torso can fit through the openings on the front and back sides, posing a risk of serious injury and death due to tip over, fall and entrapment hazards.
HARPPA has received three reports of the stools collapsing or tipping over, resulting in two injuries, including scrapes, cuts and bruises. The recall involves the Nordi foldable toddler towers, which are white, black and blue with natural wood color on the stool's step, platform and safety bars.
The stools measure about 18 inches deep, 18 inches wide and 38.6 inches tall, and "MODEL No.: HANS0002" is printed on a label on the underside of the stool's platform.
The stools, made in China, were sold online at Harppababy.com and Amazon.com from September 2023 through June 2026 for about $130. The recall was announced by the CPSC on July 30, 2026.
Consumers should stop using the recalled stools immediately and store them away from children. The remedy offered by the agency is a free repair kit, including shipping, consisting of protective nets, stabilizing feet and installation instructions.
