NorthStar Hot Water Pressure Washers
NorthStar is recalling three pressure washer models (items 157310, 157594, 157595) made Jan–Aug 2025 due to fan wheel failure risk causing flames and smoke.
Stop using the pressure washer immediately. Check the serial number label on the engine and the burner date code label (location varies by model: under battery box for 157310, under ball valve assembly for 157594, under NorthStar logo for 157595). If your unit has a MONTHYEAR code between 0125 and 0825 and a WEEKYEAR burner code between 0125 and 2625, contact Northern Tool + Equipment for a free replacement or refund.
Why it was recalled
The fan wheel on the recalled pressure washers can fail, causing abnormal burner operation that can produce smoke and/or bursts of flames during use, posing a fire hazard.
Where it was sold
Northern Tool + Equipment stores nationwide and online at NorthernTool.com, Amazon.com, Ebay.com, and GNEDI.com from January 2025 through August 2025 for between $5,000 and $10,000.
