VEEKTOMX VT103 mini power banks sold on Amazon (Jan–Sep 2024) recalled for fire and burn hazards from overheating lithium-ion batteries.

What to do

Stop using the recalled power bank immediately. Contact your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center ahead of time to confirm it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries, then bring the device to that center for proper disposal. Do not throw the device in household trash, curbside recycling bins, or retail battery recycling boxes.
