Why it was recalled

Casely is reannouncing the recall of Casely Power Banks 5000mAh portable MagSafe wireless phone chargers (model E33A) sold March 2022–September 2024 due to lithium-ion battery overheating and fire risk. The company has received 79 total consumer reports of the battery overheating, expanding, or catching fire, including one fatality and one serious incident on an airplane. Consumers should stop using the product immediately and dispose of it at a municipal household hazardous waste collection center; do not throw it in trash or standard recycling bins.
