Casely is recalling 5000mAh Power Pods wireless chargers due to fire and burn hazards that have caused serious injuries and one fatality.

What to do

Immediately stop using the recalled power banks. Contact Casely to register for a full refund. You must destroy the power bank by placing it in a fireproof container or bucket of sand, then email a photo of the destroyed unit to the company to receive your refund.

Casely is reannouncing the recall of Power Pods 5000mAh portable MagSafe wireless phone chargers due to fire and burn hazards. The lithium-ion batteries can overheat, expand, or catch fire while charging, posing a risk of serious injury or death. One fatality and multiple burn injuries have been reported.
