Stoltzfus Family Dairy LLC of Vernon Center, New York, recalled Stoltzfus Family Farm Sour Cream and Onion cheese curds, 8-ounce, because the product may be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune. The recall began May 5, 2026, and was announced by the company May 7, 2026.
The recalled cheese curds were distributed in New York and Pennsylvania. The recall involved 403 lbs. of the product.
