Why it was recalled
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar tow trailer modules due to an improperly designed trailer tow module that may cause trailer lights to fail to illuminate and trailer brakes to fail. Inoperative trailer brake lights and turn signals reduce visibility to other drivers and increase crash risk. Failed trailer brakes also increase crash risk.
