Jeep Wagoneer S Vehicles

The Jeep Wagoneer S has a liftgate hinge cover that may detach, becoming a road hazard and increasing crash risk.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Jeep Wagoneer S vehicles because the liftgate hinge cover may not be properly clipped into position and may detach from the vehicle. A detached hinge cover can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall affects 11,767 vehicles nationwide.

The recall was reported to NHTSA on March 12, 2026. The remedy is that dealers will inspect, repair, or replace the hinge cover as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 1, 2026.
