What happened

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV vehicles that may have been repaired incorrectly under recall 25V433. The rear parking brake wiring harness may become damaged or corroded, resulting in unintended activation of the parking brake or loss of the parking brake function. Unintended activation while driving increases the risk of a crash, and loss of function while parked can result in a rollaway.

The recall affects 20 vehicles nationwide. Dealers will replace the chassis harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 25, 2026.
