Why it was recalled
Volvo Trucks North America is recalling certain 2024–2027 VNL (4) vehicles without auxiliary parking brakes. In weight bias mode, insufficient weight on the parking brake axle may result in inadequate parking brake force, increasing rollaway and crash risk.
