Why it was recalled

Mack Trucks is recalling certain 2025–2027 Pioneer (4) and 2026–2027 Anthem (4) vehicles due to unprotected electrical connectors on the rear brake modulators that may short circuit. A short circuit can disable the anti-lock brake system (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC), increasing crash risk.
