
Volvo VNR and VNL Rear Brake Modulator
Volvo is recalling 2025–2027 VNR and VNL trucks with rear brake modulators that may short circuit and disable ABS and stability control.
Stop driving the vehicle and contact Volvo Trucks North America immediately to schedule service. Do not operate the vehicle until the rear brake modulator connectors have been inspected and repaired.

Why it was recalled
Volvo Trucks is recalling certain 2026–2027 VNR (4) and 2025–2027 VNL (4) vehicles due to unprotected electrical connectors on the rear brake modulators that may short circuit. A loss of anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control increases the risk of crash or injury.
