Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 Door Cable
Mercedes-Benz is recalling 2026 GLA 250 vehicles over an incorrectly installed door cable that may prevent opening from inside.
What to do
Contact Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC immediately to schedule service to inspect and correct the bowden cable installation. Do not drive the vehicle until the cable has been inspected and corrected if you suspect it may be affected.
Why it was recalled
A door that cannot be opened may trap occupants inside the vehicle, which can increase the risk of injury.
