Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2018-2023 T-Series Pure Electric and 2024-2026 e-TRIEVER terminal trucks. The driver's side door handles may be missing a lock, failing to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components." A door that cannot be locked may open unexpectedly during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. The recall affects 139 vehicles nationwide and was reported to NHTSA on February 20, 2026.

The remedy is that OEV field service will replace the door handles, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2026.
