Why it was recalled

Subaru is recalling certain 2026 Forester and Forester Hybrid vehicles because the sliding glass panel of the power moonroof assembly may be improperly bonded to the frame. This defect can cause the glass panel to detach from the vehicle, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.
