Altec Service Body Inverter AC Wiring
Altec is recalling 2022-2026 Service Body vehicles due to a wiring defect that may cause a short circuit and increase the risk of fire.
Owners should contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832 to schedule a free inspection and repair. Dealers will inspect the inverter output AC wiring and reroute or repair it as necessary.
Why it was recalled
Altec is recalling certain 2022-2026 Service Body vehicles because the inverter output AC wiring may be routed too tightly within the electrical receptacle enclosure. This can cause the wiring to become damaged and short circuit, which may lead to overheating and an increased risk of fire. This recall is distributed nationwide.
