BMW A/C Wiring Harness
BMW is recalling 2023–2026 7 Series, I7, i5, 5 Series, M5, and 550e/750e xDrive vehicles over A/C wiring harness fire risk.
What to do
Contact BMW to schedule service to inspect and replace the A/C wiring harness if necessary. Do not attempt to replace the cabin air filter yourself if you are unsure of the procedure.
Why it was recalled
A damaged wiring harness can short-circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
