BMW Starter Motor
BMW is recalling 2021–2024 3/4/5 Series, X3, X4, Z4, and Supra models due to starter motor fire risk.
What to do
Stop driving the vehicle immediately and contact BMW to schedule a starter motor inspection and replacement. Do not attempt to start the engine if you suspect starter malfunction.
Why it was recalled
Fire increases the risk of injury.
