Lucid Air
The Lucid Air has an exterior lighting circuit that can overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

What happened
Lucid USA, Inc. is recalling certain 2022-2026 Lucid Air vehicles because the exterior lighting circuit may have insufficient overcurrent protection, allowing the circuit to overheat. An overheated circuit increases the risk of a fire, and a loss of the center brake light or front lights can decrease visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall was reported to NHTSA on August 20, 2026, and affects 27,185 vehicles nationwide.
The remedy is an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 25, 2026.
