The week in recalls
The week's recalls were mostly medical devices, with a pair of high-risk notices standing out: a pediatric care bed that can trap children and a coolant-contaminated antacid. Drivers also got warnings.

Here's this week's recall roundup. There were 81 recalls, and most were medical devices. The ones that matter most are a pediatric care bed that can trap children and a contaminated antacid, so let's start there.
The KayserBett IDA Pediatric Care Bed is a high risk recall. If the hand control is not locked with the provided key when a child is unattended, the child or other children can operate it and become trapped under the bed frame or between the bed frame and the floor. That can lead to serious injuries or death. If you use this bed, check that the hand control is locked whenever a child is left alone, and follow the instructions for the key.
Gas-X Extra Strength Softgels were recalled because they may be contaminated with a diluted propylene glycol-based coolant from a machine leak during packaging. This is a high risk recall. The coolant could cause nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. If you have these softgels, do not take them. Also, Yamaha XTZ690 motorcycles from 2025 have turn signals that may fail, and the recall carries a do not drive warning. If you own one, do not ride it until the turn signal issue is fixed.
Those are the recalls worth your attention today. You can find the full list for the week below, with details on each one and what to do if you have the product.
