The week in recalls
Salmonella in sprouting seeds, mercury in skin creams, and a fire engine you should not drive. The recalls that matter most are the ones you can still act on.

Another week, another round of recalls. There were 105 recalls this week, and they were mostly food and medical devices. The ones that matter most are a fire engine you should not drive, a skin cream with mercury in it, and sprouting seeds that may carry salmonella, so let's start there.
Rosenbauer America is recalling Rosenbauer Commander and Warrior fire engines because a cracked rim weld can make the wheel separate and the tire go flat, which could cause a crash. This is a high risk recall with a do not drive warning, and it covers 10 fire engines from model years 2024 and 2025. If you have one of these, do not drive it until the recall work is done.
Two other recalls are worth your minute. Omni Gold Anti-Marks Cream and Orbi 20 are skin lightening products that FDA testing found contaminated with mercury, so stop using them. And Todd's Seeds Sprouting Seeds may be contaminated with E. coli or salmonella, so do not eat them.
That is the week. Check the full list below for the rest, and take care of the ones that touch your home.
