The week in recalls
Air bags that can fire on their own, seat belts that can come loose, and fuel that can leak: the recalls that mattered most were about the parts we trust to hold us and stop us. Check your car.

Here's this week's recall roundup. Sixty-eight recalls were listed, and they were mostly cars, medical devices and household products. The ones that matter most are a few vehicle recalls that affect a lot of people, so let's start there.
Honda is recalling Honda Odyssey minivans from the 2018 through 2022 model years because a software error can make the side and side curtain air bags deploy when they should not. That means an air bag could go off while you are driving, which can startle you or hurt someone in the seat. If you own one, watch for a notice from Honda and have the software updated at a dealer. Hyundai is also recalling several models, including the Hyundai Santa Fe, because the anchors that hold the front seat belts in place may detach. In a crash, a seat belt that comes loose cannot do its job, so this one is worth taking seriously.
Kia is recalling Kia Carnival minivans from 2022 through 2026 because fuel can leak where the fuel pipe meets the fuel rail, which raises the risk of a fire. If you smell gasoline or see a leak, keep the van outside and away from buildings until it is fixed. The FDA also gave a high risk rating to Blaine Labs Wound Care Gels and Antifungal Creams and Solutions after samples found bacteria in products that are not meant to be sterile, so check anything you have at home.
That is the short version. The full list below has every recall from the week, with links to the notices and what to do next.
