Week of April 13–19, 2026
The week in recalls
A sobering mix of vehicle, food and medical recalls landed this week, with a steering fault serious enough that owners are told not to drive. A milk replacer for young animals and a spice also stood out.

Another week, another round of recalls. Seventy-six recalls were listed, and they came from the road, the pharmacy shelf and the kitchen. The ones that matter most are a vehicle you should not drive, a milk replacer for puppies and kittens, and a spice. So let's start there.
Roush is recalling certain 2026 Nissan Frontier Pro4X R vehicles because the cotter pins for the upper control arm ball joint and steering tie rod ends may not have been installed, and fasteners may not be properly tightened. Loose or missing fasteners can cause loss of steering control, which raises the chance of a crash. This one carries a do not drive warning, so if you own one, stop driving it and contact the maker about getting it fixed.
Two food recalls are worth a minute. Breeder's Edge Foster Care and Shelter's Choice Milk Replacer may have vitamin D levels higher or lower than the label claims, which matters for very young animals. That recall has ended, but if you still have some, check the label. Salute Seasonings Ground All Spice may be contaminated with Salmonella, so throw it out or return it rather than using it.
There is plenty more in the full list below, including vehicle, device and drug recalls. Take a look, and check anything you have bought recently.
