Week of July 13–19, 2026
The week in recalls
A heavy week for medical devices and vehicles, with a lettuce recall that reached many states and a supplement that may carry Salmonella. The recalls that matter most are the ones you can act on today.
Recall CanaryUpdated
Here's the recall roundup for the week. There were 77 recalls in all, and most were for medical devices, drugs, and vehicles. The ones that matter most are a lettuce recall that reached many states and a supplement that may carry Salmonella, so let's start there.
Taylor Farms Chopped and Shredded Lettuce and Salad Mixes may be contaminated with Cyclospora, a tiny parasite that causes diarrhea and other stomach symptoms. The recall covers iceberg lettuce products sold in 27 states. If you have any of these salads in your fridge, throw them out and do not eat them. Cyclospora can make you sick for weeks, so it is worth checking your produce drawer carefully. Zen Principle Naturals Moringa Leaf Powder Dietary Supplement may be contaminated with Salmonella, which can cause serious infections. If you have this supplement at home, stop using it and throw it away. Salmonella can be especially hard on young children, older adults, and anyone with a weakened immune system.
Two other recalls are worth a minute. Rising Pharma Cetirizine Hydrochloride Tablets may be contaminated with ranitidine, a drug that can cause serious side effects, so check your allergy medicine. And International HV (2026-2027) and International MV (2021, 2023-2027) have a battery cable that can short circuit and start a fire, so owners should park outside until the repair is done.
