The week in recalls
Fire warnings on parked cars and a frozen berry blend pulled over contamination made for a week when the biggest dangers sat quietly in driveways and freezers. The recalls that mattered most were the ones you could not see coming.

Here's what got recalled this week. Ninety-six recalls were listed, and they were mostly medical devices and vehicles. The ones that matter most involve a fire risk in parked cars and a frozen fruit blend, so let's start there.
Kia is recalling the Kia Telluride because the front power seat motor can overheat and start a fire, whether the vehicle is parked or being driven. The problem can stem from a stuck power seat slide knob or from an earlier repair that did not fully solve it. The agency warns owners to park outside, away from buildings, until the fix is done. If you have one of these SUVs, check your vehicle identification number and contact a dealer for the free repair.
Hyundai is recalling the Hyundai Ioniq 5 because the high voltage battery cells may have misaligned electrodes that can cause a fire while parked or driving. The same park-outside warning applies. Separately, Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur Organic Whole Blueberries may be contaminated with E. coli, which can bring severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting. If you have these berries, do not eat them.
There is more in the full list below, including breathing circuits and a delivery catheter system. Take a minute to check anything you own, and pass the word to anyone who might have these products at home.
